Join our November 7 photography field trip to The Capital Wheel and National Harbor.
We’ll gather at the Capital Wheel ticket office at 4 p.m., allowing time to purchase tickets and enjoy the views before the anticipated 5:03 p.m. sunset over the Potomac.
The evening continues with the holiday tree lighting at 5:30 p.m., followed immediately by fireworks.
Arrive early to browse the National Harbor Christmas Market and Holiday Craft Show.
Between the market, illuminated wheel, waterfront reflections, and fireworks, there will be plenty of subjects for street photography, long exposures, motion studies, reflections, and creative light painting.
Bring your camera, tripod, and dress appropriately for the weather.
Those interested can discuss dinner plans when we meet.
