Don’t wait until the last minute!
For the October 21st digital contest, we would like to try out a new online submission process. To do this we will need your help.
Membership Registration
Only paid members may participate in contests. If you are not a registered and paid member, click on the Membership Registration link. Complete and submit the membership registration form and send your check in.
Digital Contest Instructions
After completing the membership registration, you will need to create an account so you can upload images for digital contests. Click on the following link to take you to the Digital Contest Submission page.
Account Creation
Click on the Account Creation link. Fill out the form with your nickname, email address, and password. Then click register.
Check your email for a confirmation email. Click on the link in the confirmation email to confirm your account. If you do not see a confirmation email, check your junk, or spam folders. You will only have to create an account once.
Login
Once you have successfully created your account, click on the following link again to return to the Digital Contest Submission page. Type in your email address and password used above for registration and click “Login”.
Now that you are logged in, you should see an empty gallery like this, and you can now upload images for the next digital contest.
Click on the upload icon
This should display an upload form
Select your category, Novice or Unlimited
Remember you still need to size and name your images properly. Now let’s upload three images for the contest. Click on Choose Files. You may choose one to three files. If you choose to upload less than three, you will have to repeat the process to upload the remaining photos. Note you can upload a file today and come back later to upload the remaining files.
Click on “I am not a robot”
Click “Upload”
You should see the following message. Click on the X in the top right corner to dismiss this notice.
And your gallery should now have your uploaded images in it
Note if you change your mind, you can delete an image by clicking on the x at the top right of an image. You can then upload a different image in its place. But you can only upload a max of 6 times per contest.
If you try and upload an image that is larger than 1024 pixels on the long side, you will get an error message.
To logout of the Digital Contest Submission webpage, click on your name in the upper left corner to get the logout dropdown. Then click on logout.
You should still receive an email from the contest team confirming receipt and proper naming and formatting of your images.
