Join us on April 28 for a talk by Michael Koren on “Artistic Expression Through Smartphone Photography”

NOTE THIS TALK WILL NOT BE RECORDED.

Worldwide a little less than half the population uses smartphones. Conservatively each year, smartphones take about 1.5 trillion photos. Because of the smartphone camera, photography and picture taking is more popular than ever before in history.

With the convenience of the camera that’s always with you, and the effortless ability to share pictures, the capability to create and have fun with photography has never been easier.

Learn how to overcome limitations of a smartphone’s camera and go beyond taking a snapshot to create an artistic expression.  This presentation will discuss the motivations and rewards of taking pictures with a smartphone by demonstrating camera app best practices to get better pictures from your mobile photography. You will also see a demonstration of two world class editing apps to help bring forward your artistic expression.
