The Arundel Camera Club is excited to announce a Logo Competition open to all members in good standing! As we continue to grow and evolve, we are looking for a fresh visual identity that reflects our mission of the Art, Science, and Education in photography. This is your opportunity to leave your creative mark on the club!

  • Voting Period: September 5 – September 30, 2025

Current Logo

Submission Guidelines

  • Each member may submit up to three (3) logo designs.
  • Required text: “Arundel Camera Club”
  • Optional text (choose any or all or none):
    • “Founded in 1957”
    • “Art, Science, and Education”
    • “Anne Arundel County, MD”
  • Logos can be line drawings, graphics, or photographs.
  • Designs must be in good taste and Facebook-safe.
  • Final images must be submitted in JPG format, sized 2048 pixels on the long side.
  • Please name your files: Lastname_Firstname_Logo1.jpg (and so on for additional submissions).
  • Designs should reflect the spirit of the club and its commitment to photography, education, and community.
  • It is likely that the winning logo will need to be vectorized for future use. To preserve quality, we recommend designing your logo at a large size—such as 8″x8″ at 300 DPI—and then resizing it to 2048 pixels on the long side for submission.

Voting Process

  • Voting will be conducted online during the month of September.
  • All members in good standing are eligible to vote.
  • Members can vote for up to three logo designs.
  • If no submitted logo receives more support than the current logo, the club will retain the existing design.
  • The Board reserves the right to work with the winning designer to refine the final logo for official use.
  • The Board has the final decision on selecting the winning logo or choosing to keep the current logo.

Prize

The submitter of the winning logo will receive a free club membership for the 2025–2026 club year!

Usage Rights

By submitting a logo, you grant Arundel Camera Club the right to use and modify your design for promotional and branding purposes.
