As of today, outside groups will not be permitted to use indoor school facilities until further notice. This means no camera club meeting at the school next week.
The club officers have been working all day to try to work on a plan to continue the mission of the club and cause as little disruption as possible with the school closings. A few changes were necessary but we feel that this will allow us to continue to provide a fun and educational experience for all members until we’re able to meet again at the school.
We do not have a meeting area set for this Wednesday March 18th and have decided to hold a live stream digital contest on Facebook. Many of you are already on Facebook and members of the group, if you are not already a member, please visit and click on Join to be accepted. It’s understandable that not everyone wants to become a member of Facebook however they have the platform needed to do our best at holding our regular contests until the storm blows over. Many people use fake names and make sure to edit the settings to severely limit what they share on the platform.
Again, March 18th is our Digital Open Themed Contest and it will be hosted Live on Facebook on Wednesday March 18th at 7pm.
Further changes were also made:
- April 1st will now be a Digital Contest.
- April 15th will now be a Print Contest.
