Thursday evening at 7:00PM at the Severna Park Baptist Church is our monthly print contest. Entries will be reviewed and critiqued by a judge. Top photographs earn ribbons and points toward club awards and recognition.
The theme is Reflection photography – Reeflection Photography, also referred to as mirror photography, is when you use reflective surfaces to create an artistic echo of a scene. This type of photography can add an interesting spin to locations that are hotspots for photographers such as oceans, lakes, puddles, and even rain drops. They?re all subjects that are commonly used to create brilliant reflection photographs. Of course, less traditional resources such as metal, tiles, mirrors and anything with a shiny surface can also be easily incorporated into this type of photography. The reflections should be captured in camera and not created through Photoshop or similar editors. Click here for examples of Reflections Photography.
The contest is open to both novice and unlimited paid club members. Club members may enter up to three monochrome prints and three color prints. Print size, matting, and labelling guidelines are described in the Contest Rules.
