A big thank you goes to Lew Lorton for judging our 2014 December Open competitions.
Lewis Lorton is a retired health care executive and Army Colonel. His main interest is street photography and that ethic has affected everything he shoots including travel (which he loves). He believes that the technical issues of a photo are only relevant when they hurt the message of the photo. The amount of post-processing or manipulation is irrelevant; it is the end result that is important. Last year he switched from Nikon Full Frame to Micro four thirds and hasn’t looked back.
He lives in Columbia, MD with his wife of 32 years and has a bunch of children scattered around the US. His favorite travel destination is South East Asia and will be returning to Laos for the month of February.
