“Odyssey of Light” is the Maryland Photography Alliance’s (MPA) premier educational event of the year.  It is also MPA’s sole fundraiser that supports many of its programs. Many Arundel Camera Club members attended our 2019 Odyssey of Light at the College of Notre Dame in Baltimore and hoped to attend the spring 2020 in-person event that we tried to reschedule in October. But with in-person gatherings still not safe, we decided to switch to an online event with most of the same benefits, minus the face-to-face contact risks.

For your health and safety, the 2020 “Odyssey of Light” changed from a seminar to a webinar and will take place over two half days, and include four inspiring speakers.

The “Odyssey of Light” Schedule of Events is as follows:

Saturday, October 17

  • 9:00 AM – Eileen Rafferty – “Seeing in Black & White”
  • 10:30 AM – Canon Explorer of Light Stephen Johnson – “Capturing the Beauty of the Real World”

Sunday, October 18

  •   9:00 AM – Nikon Ambassador Kristi Odom – “Photographing Wildlife with Passion”
  • 10:00 AM – Ian Plant – “Creative Photography Techniques – Making Ordinary Extraordinary”

The price for MPA club members is just $29 when you use your club’s discount code.  Arundel Camera Club’s discount code is ACC.  In addition to saving $30 because you are a member of Arundel Camera Club, everyone who attends will also receive a $30 Gift Card from Nations Photo Lab.  Do the math and you will know the 2020 “Odyssey of Light” Webinar is an incredible opportunity with extraordinarily talented artists..
